Man lives in the midst of a glorious environment ... the earth, sun, animals, planets, air, and water. These are gifts man,over the years, has come to take for granted. Today, our earth is sending us an urgent SOS. If the natural enviroment is allowed to deteriorate further, all living creatures will, quite simply, cease to exist. The natural environment which sustains all living things also provides the resources to protect the earth. This is the only planet we have. There are no alternatives!
The oceans are the source of all life, for it was from the oceans man emerged millions of years ago to take his place on dry land. Even today all life on earth is sustained from the oceans. We must always recognize the importance of the ocean and protect her permanently. We must also protect the living environments of our fellow creatures who live in the oceans.
This is the mission to which APOLLO is dedicated. We must not only protect but improve the state of our oceans and all of Nature for future generations. We ask you to join us in this goal. We can not accomplish this alone!
APOLLO seeks to furnish the opportunity to realize the value of our oceans and the importance of what Nature has qiven. We wish to show more people the beauty of the oceans in hope that the impressions gained will stimulate a greater understanding and appreciation of Nature's value. If we can return something to the oceans for what we have taken such pleasure in, we feel it will be our first step in protecting Nature.
